El jadida
Portuguese stronghold founded in the 15th century (1524), this moroccan Atlanti seaside town, 190km away from Marrakech, is famous for its Portuguese city walls. El Jadida, still called El Brija or Mazagan is twinned with the town of Sète in the Languedoc Roussillon. The industrial activity in El jadida is booming thanks to its port of Jorf Lasfar which provides most of the Moroccan phosphate exports and their deriving product. As a result several major manufacturing firms are located there.
With the development of its beaches, Eljadida saw the number of its visitors increase from one year to another. The most known of these beaches is that of Sidi Bouzid, which has a large attendance, this 3Km beach, with fine sand and clear transparent water is one of the most popular in the region with that of ElOualidia, this represents a natural exception, with its lagoons to shallow water, one of the few sites where you can practice
