Ait Ben Haddou
This is one of the most visited kasbahs in the region of Ouarzazate, in fact this place has resisted the temptations of the new century and has retained its originality and its lifestyle. Its architecture reflects the role it played in the cultural and commercial exchanges between Morocco and Saharian people who arrived with their caravans loaded with gold, ivory, spices for sale or for barter against other goods they needed. This village was the filming platform of some major masterpieces of the 7th Art, among many : « Lawrence of Arabia » and «the Nile diamond ». It is a world humanity heritage site proclaimed by the UNESCO.
